About thepierogirace
I was born very young in the Windy City of Chicago. After 7 solid years learning the in's and outs of the real world, I packed up my **** and headed east to the city of Pittsburgh (parents and brothers followed me of course). I have lived in Pittsburgh since then and been an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
My love for baseball began at the age of 6 when my dad super-glued my glove to my left hand and made me catch pop flys all summer. After learning my A-B-C's and shapes in an extensive kindergarten program, I began my illustrious tee-ball career. After stints in the minor, little, and pony leagues, I evently decided to peruse a career in broadcasting.
This leads me to current day. I have an apartment within city limits and approx. 3,769 miles from the women of my dreams...according to law. I have a full time job as a producer at a local radio station. My love for sports is far bigger than Cecil Fielders stomach. I one day hope to have a job working for a proffesional baseball team.
Finally: If you are a serious baseball fan and you have never been to PNC Park, I suggest you make the trip. It is seriously all it is cracked up to be. #1 in all of baseball, and I have been to Fenway and Wrigley which tie for a close 2nd. Get a bleacher seat for 14 bucks in left field, grab a primantis sandwich and a iron city beer and enjoy some baseball.
